Sediba Lodge offers a safari in South Africa's malaria-free Welgevonden Big Five Private Game Reserve, a mere three-hour drive from Johannesburg. Here, overlooking the majestic Waterberg (which translates to 'water mountains' in Afrikaans), no luxury has been spared to offer the guests a relaxing safari, immersed in wild tranquility.

The lodge has 15 suites, all designed with personal service, luxury and style in mind. These open-plan suites all have double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, lounges and a private viewing decks with a jacuzzi, offering magnificent views of the Waterberg.

Sediba Lodge serves their cuisine at various locations, such as one of the dining rooms, the boma, on the deck or even in the guests' suites. The bar and wine cellar will cater to any persons' taste. As part of the relaxation regime at Sediba Lodge, the professional health and beauty spa will leave guests invigorated and pampered.

The game drives in the mornings and evenings will provide guests with the opportunity to the experience the game up-close. The 37 000-hectare Welgevonden bushveld boasts more than 50 mammal species, including the Big Five.




Guests are transferred to Sediba Lodge in the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve from O R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. This safari package offers a Big Five experience in a malaria-free area with two daily game drives under the multi-hued gaze of the Waterberg. Guided game walks offer guests the opportunity to intimately acquaint themselves with the region's fauna and flora.

Cool off in the lodge's shaded swimming pool or warm up in your suite's deck Jacuzzi. Guests seeking an additional pampering experience may opt for a treatment at the lodge's in-house spa.
