Location & Setting

Most clients will fly from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit or Skukuza, from where a road transfer of about an hour and a half will bring guests to the lodge for their safari. Ancient trees shade the camp that lies in an area of wooded savannah.

Rooms

Hoyo Hoyo is constructed in the style of a traditional Tsonga village. Staff at the lodge dress in traditional clothes, which gives the lodge an authentic atmosphere of a bygone era. Accommodation is provided in six luxury air-conditioned 'bee hive' suites with cylindrical shapes, earth-colored walls, and tapered thatch roofs. Each room features an en suite bathroom with an antique-style bath and a king-size bed.

Facilities

The main area has a lounge and dining area richly decorated in a warm and inviting African theme. The lodge has a swimming pool, sure to provide a welcome haven on warm summer days during your safari in South Africa. Two game drives are conducted daily by experienced local rangers and trackers from the back of open 4x4 vehicles - a typical Kruger safari activity.
