Fancourt Manor House

Fancourt Manor House is located in Blanco near George. It is named "Blanco" after the estate's original owner, Sir Henry Fancourt White. George is located centrally in the picturesque Garden Route of South Africa, between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean. It is just under five hours from Cape Town when driving but only five minutes from George Airport.

There are 18 suites in this boutique hotel, consisting of one double Master Suite, four Grand Suites, and thirteen Luxury Suites. No effort was spared when remodeling this national monument, and opulence filled this hotel as every detail received meticulous attention, from the wooden touches to classical interior decor features. The lavish en suite bathrooms even feature fireplaces. Five different liquor decanters, champagne, fresh milk, and state-of-the-art coffee and tea stations are standard. Fresh flowers are replaced daily.

The Manor House hosts the stately Monty Bar, the Manor House Library, a private swimming pool, and the airy Manor House Lounge, the perfect afternoon tea location. Fancourt's flagship restaurant, Henry White's, is also part of the Manor House and provides fine dining, specializing in seafood. La Cantina – also attached to the Manor House – serves decadent breakfasts and converts into an Italian restaurant at night. The Club Lounge and Bar serves American-style food, and Monet's is a deli with a bistro café feel complemented by an awe-inspiring view.
