Location & Setting

Madikwe Hills is set amongst boulders in the Madikwe Game Reserve, the fifth largest game reserve in South Africa. This malaria-free reserve is a four-and-a-half-hour drive from Johannesburg in the North West Province. Here, you will experience excellent game viewing while traversing an area of 75,000 hectares.

Rooms

The spacious glass-fronted suites at Madikwe Hills can accommodate up to 20 guests, with the thatch roofs blending in with the environment. Each suite has a private deck with a plunge pool, air-conditioning, underfloor heating, and a fireplace for those chilly winter nights. All suites offer unobstructed views of the surrounding wilderness.

Facilities

The finest cuisine is served in the open-air boma under African skies or in the restaurant. Unwind in the spa's tranquility, exercise in the fully-equipped gym, or swim in the lodge's main lodge. A small library provides internet access for those needing to stay in touch.
