Buhala is near Malelaan and one of the southern entry gates to the Kruger National Park. It is just over an hour from the airport in Nelspruit. You can explore nearby Swaziland and Mozambique from the lodge and be back for dinner. Avid golfers will find Buhlala a convenient destination that allows you to play at the world-famous Leopard Creek Country Club.
All the rooms and suites have en suite bathrooms and tea and coffee stations. The Standard Double Rooms look out across the mountains and garden, while the large windows of the Kruger Park River Rooms offer splendid views of the Crocodile River and the park beyond it. The Kruger Park Balcony Rooms provide excellent vantage points to look even further across the Crocodile River, and the Elephant Garden Suites are equipped with an outdoor sitting area (and outdoor showers!) to make you feel like you are immersed in the wilderness.
For the indulgence of the leisurely traveler, Buhala Lodge serves delicious meals three times a day that can be paired with some of the finest wines in the world. These gourmet delights can be enjoyed in the elegant dining room or outdoors under the African sky.
