Location & Setting

The lodge is built on the banks of the Biyamithi River in the southwestern part of South Africa's Kruger National Park. Fitzpatrick's is easily accessible from Skukuza Airport with a leisurely transfer/game drive of just over an hour, and its private-concession setting combines low vehicle densities with classic riverine habitat. The southern reaches are renowned for reliable Big Five encounters and particularly strong rhino densities, adding excellent context for first-time and returning safari-goers alike.

Rooms

The three rooms can all sleep two adults with either twin or king-size beds, and two rooms can additionally accommodate two children each—perfect for a small group of friends or a family excursion. All rooms feature en-suite bathrooms and outside showers, while air-conditioning, minibars, hairdryers, tea and coffee stations, electronic safes, and ceiling fans ensure modern comfort; thoughtful child-friendly configurations help keep everyone rested between drives.

Facilities

Three meals are served daily in an open-plan lounge and dining area that flows onto a large outdoor rock pool, with a television nook, library space, and a cozy lounge with a fireplace for cooler evenings.
