Lekkerwater Beach Lodge

De Hoop Nature Reserve protects one of the world’s best-preserved coastal fynbos biomes, where rolling dunes, sandstone cliffs and flower-rich shrublands frame the Indian Ocean. Antelope like bontebok and eland roam the plains, while birdlife thrives year-round. Lekkerwater sits on a bluff above a long, empty beach, placing guests within easy reach of tidal pools, coastal trails and sweeping sea views.

The lodge has just seven ocean-facing rooms accommodating a maximum of fourteen guests. Spaces are bright and uncluttered, with sliding doors to private decks and thoughtful, low-impact finishes. Expect comfy bedding, modern en-suite bathrooms and simple touches that foreground the star attraction: an ever-changing panorama of sea, sky and shoreline.
