Location & Setting

Cradled beneath the Witteberg Mountains near Clarens and Ficksburg, the reserve spans a highland basin of golden grasslands, sandstone cliffs and spring-fed streams. Interiors are individually furnished for a homely, farm-lodge feel, with practical comforts for couples and families.

Facilities

Central lodge areas include a restaurant and bar, lounges with sandstone character, outdoor seating facing the valley, Wi-Fi in designated/common areas and conference/event venues nearby. An activity desk arranges guided rides, hikes, game drives and seasonal experiences on the greater reserve.
