Prince Albert is set at the foot of the Swartberg Pass, a most impressive passage through the mountain range that bears the same name. It is surrounded by sheer cliffs, a multitude of waterfalls and crystal clear streams. The town, though slightly off the beaten track, is an architectural gem with a rich history that never fails to impress those fortunate enough to travel to this part of the world.

Dennehof is set in a lush garden, a true oasis in the dry and arid landscape of the Karoo. It offers comfortable accommodation in seven rooms, each decorated individually with a character and style of their own. Rooms are en suite and each offers splendid views of either the Swartberg Mountains or surrounding farmland grazed by cattle and angora goats. The service at this property is very personal, the hospitality and attention to detail are sure to leave a lasting impression.

The guest house is an ideal base from which to enjoy the activities and attractions in and around the town of Prince Albert. Guests may spend time browsing through the multitude of small shops offering antiques, local arts and crafts or devote an evening to to the tales and fables of the Story Weaver, as she walks guests through the history of the town, its legends and ghosts. Nature activities on offer include botany tours, as well as visits to the Wolwekraal Nature Reserve, the only formally protected area of succulent Karoo vegetation.
