Grootbos is a private nature reserve that is situated in the Western Cape, South Africa. Grootbos is about two hours away from Cape Town by car. This five-star property is nestled amidst a Milkwood forest, with some trees older than 1000 years.
The accommodation at Grootbos Nature reserve consists of Garden Lodge, Forest Lodge and two private villas. Garden Lodge blends in with the surroundings, so you will definitely feel one with nature. This lodge consists of 11 spacious chalets, each with an en suite bathroom, canopy bed, separate lounge area with a fireplace and a lovely wooden deck. Forest Lodge is situated in the Milkwood forest, which evokes a fairytale atmosphere. The lodge comprises 16 chalets with en suite bathrooms, stylish bedrooms and lovely glass doors that open onto a deck from where you have a panoramic view of the ocean. Included in your package at both of these lodges are all meals and a host of nature-oriented activities. When staying in one of the villas, you will live in the absolute lap of luxury, with your own private guide, a chef and a butler.
