Okavango Delta Safari Camps and Lodges

Abu Camp is one of the most exclusive and remote safari lodges in the Okavango Delta. Named after the camp’s first elephant - a retired actor and bull elephant - Abu Camp now offers the most authentic and insightful elephant-back safaris and elephant interactions.

Baines Camp is an exclusive, intimate safari camp built on raised wooden platforms above the Boro River in Botswana's illustrious Okavango Delta. The camp is in a pristine private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve.

Camp Moremi is located in the pristine wilderness of the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta. This painstakingly protected area hosts an abundance of wildlife, which you may often observe from the raised deck of your safari tent.

Camp Okavango is one of the delta’s larger and more moderately priced safari camps. The surrounding environment is particularly marshy, and the camp’s position on the remote Nxaragha Island means that only water-based safari activities and game walks are offered.

Chief's Camp is located on the famous Chief's Island, the former hunting grounds of Chief Moremi in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve. This is only a bit of land in the Okavango Delta where rhinos can still be encountered. The Camp is intimate, exclusive, and luxurious.

Eagle Island Lodge overlooks a tranquil lagoon in the northeastern corner of the Okavango Delta - a truly romantic and remote setting. Safari activities conducted from the lodge include walking safaris and water-based game viewing in either a motorized boat or a traditional canoe.

Overlooking the Xudum River in the southwest Okavango Delta, Kanana offers an exclusive safari in Botswana's premier conservation area. It is a small and exclusive safari camp with only seven tented suites. Both land and water-based safaris are conducted from Kanana.

Khwai Leadwood Lodge is in the Khwai concession north of the Moremi Game Reserve. It is built on the edge of the Khwai River and consists of six standard units and one family unit.

Khwai River Lodge provides luxury tented suites and safari activities in a private concession in the Moremi Game Reserve. Two 4x4 game drives are conducted daily, accompanied by seasoned rangers who enhance the experience with their knowledge.

Stanley's Camp is a tented safari camp set on a 260,000-acre private concession in Botswana's hallowed Okavango Delta. It is home to Sanctuary Retreats' 'Living with Elephants' experience, where guests can interact with these gentle giants.

Guests at Xugana Island Lodge are accommodated in raised, reed, and thatch suites known as ‘Mesasas,’ which boast beautiful views of the lagoon below. Two daily game activities allow guests to encounter remarkable wildlife.
