Okavango Delta Safari Camps and Lodges

Twelve air-conditioned suites curve through the woodland beside the Santantadibe Channel. Each has a private deck and plunge pool, while game drives and guided walks explore a large private concession bordering Moremi.

Six refurbished suites make Baines’ Lodge one of the smaller camps in the Okavango Delta. Game drives, walks and night drives take place on the private concession, with mokoro and boating offered when water levels allow.

Camp Moremi sits beneath mature ebony trees beside Xakanaxa Lagoon. Days are divided between wildlife drives in Moremi Game Reserve and boat trips through the surrounding channels and lagoons.

Located on remote Nxaragha Island, Camp Okavango is devoted to the Delta’s waterways. Guests explore by mokoro and motorboat or walk on nearby islands, rather than heading out on conventional vehicle-based game drives.

Guests who want both land and water activities will find Camp Xakanaxa particularly well placed. Game drives explore Moremi Game Reserve, while boats leave from the camp to follow the channels around Xakanaxa Lagoon.

Wildlife is the main reason to stay at Chief’s Camp. Ten spacious pavilions with private plunge pools overlook the plains of Chief’s Island, an area known for predators, elephant and large herds of plains game.

Water is central to a stay at Eagle Island Lodge. Twelve tented rooms with private plunge pools overlook the Delta, while boating, mokoro excursions and seasonal vehicle activities explore the surrounding islands and channels.

Kanana stands beside the Xudum River in a private Okavango concession. Game drives explore the islands and floodplains, while mokoro trips and boating are added when water levels allow.

Khwai Leadwood overlooks the Khwai River beside Moremi Game Reserve. Wildlife regularly moves along the riverfront, and activities include day and night drives, guided walks and seasonal mokoro trips.

Sediba Sa Rona opened in March 2026 in Botswana’s Khwai Concession. Morning and afternoon drives explore a wildlife-rich meeting point between the Okavango Delta, Moremi and the surrounding woodland.

Shinde stands on a palm-covered island beside a lagoon in the northern Okavango Delta. Its private concession supports both land and water activities, including game drives, walks, boating and mokoro excursions when conditions allow.

Mature trees shade ten air-conditioned tents on a large private Okavango concession. Guests can join day and night drives, guided walks and seasonal mokoro outings, with the daily program adjusted to wildlife movements and water levels.

Mombo is chosen as much for its wildlife as for its accommodation. The camp stands on Chief’s Island in an area known for strong year-round game viewing, particularly lion, leopard and other predators.

Xugana Island Lodge occupies a small island beside one of the Okavango Delta’s permanent lagoons. The rebuilt lodge has eight rooms, and activities include boating, mokoro trips, fishing, birding, and guided walks.
