The hotel is a serene refuge from the heat of the African sun and will immerse guests in the romance and style of a bygone era. Meals may be taken indoors under softly lit chandeliers, or on the veranda where the cool river breeze gently stirs the night air. Special dinners under star-studded skies may be arranged for the honeymooners. Guests spend three nights at the Royal Livingstone.
After three nights of colonial-style luxury, the honeymoon couple will, following a last breakfast, be transferred to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Guests will enjoy a stay at Chobe Chilwero, an enchanting place with breathtaking vistas over the Chobe floodplains.
In Chobe guests will come face to face with the remarkable creatures of the bush and some of the most spectacular sunsets mother nature has to offer. Three nights are spent at Chobe Chilwero. The honeymoon couple will enjoy two Chobe National Park safaris each day. These safaris will alternate between open 4x4 game drives in the national park and water-based game viewing from the Chobe River. The safaris are led by skilled local rangers and trackers.
After breakfast, honeymooners fly from a local airstrip to Eagle Island Lodge, set in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Eagle Island Lodge is situated in a small patch of secluded paradise hidden from the world by the untamed wilderness. The lodge is located on the island of Xaxaba and is surrounded by Ilala palms. It overlooks a lagoon fed by the tranquil waterways of the Okavango Delta. Here honeymooners will enjoy exceptionally high quality wildlife viewing with prolific birdlife and mammal sightings.
