Chobe National Park

The five star Chobe Chilwero Lodge borders the second largest national park in Botswana. The Chobe National Park is famous for its abundance of elephants, but is also home to many other wonderful species. Game viewing is conducted each day through open vehicle game drives and river cruises. Your luxury African safari experience is enhanced by the knowledge and expertise of local guides and trackers.

Guests enjoy stylish comfort in fifteen thatched en suite cottages. The suites are air-conditioned and have free-standing baths as well as indoor and outdoor showers. Enjoy the African wilderness from the privacy of your outdoor shower, or relax in the cottage's own lounge area or hammock in the private garden, with bird song to keep you company.

A large split-level swimming pool is available for all guests to use. Chobe Chilwero is the only lodge that offers a full spa experience to complement your relaxation. The lodge offers splendid gourmet meals, accompanied by vintage wines stocked in the on-site wine cellar. The dining room leads onto a fantastic viewing deck where guests can enjoy a drink and game viewing. The lodge provides sundowner cruises on the Chobe River and day trips to the nearby Victoria Falls - ideal additions to your safari in Botswana .

From O R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, guests fly to Livingstone in Zambia and are then transferred to the lodge. Meet Chobe National Park's imposing grey giants during excursions in open 4x4 vehicles in the park itself, or encounter a bounty of remarkable species on a river-based sunset cruise.

The lodge presents convenient recreational opportunities at the lodge as well, from languid hours in the belly of the pool to the appealing option of pampering bouts in the resident spa with its signature Africology and Thalgo treatments. This luxury safari package engages visitors to relish gourmet meals blessed with the ever-evolving views of the surrounding wilderness. An African safari at Chobe Chilwero will prove unforgettable.
