Our private overland safaris to the Kruger National Park are the most affordable and traditional of the safari options available. This is a truly authentic experience and the way locals have been enjoying the park’s natural spoils for decades.
Guests will be met on arrival at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg by their own personal African Sky guide. You’ll journey north-east through the Gauteng and Mpumalanga provinces, relishing views of dramatically changing landscapes. Once in the park, game drives will be enjoyed at your behest. Your own private air-conditioned vehicle means that you can venture out into the park or relax in camp as it pleases you.
Our experienced guides are all equipped with intimate knowledge of the park’s wildlife, vegetation and the many routes that snake through this world-renowned wilderness. Your accommodation in one or more of the park’s main rest camps may not be luxurious, but nevertheless comfortable. Stipends for breakfast and dinner in the camp restaurants are included in the price of your overland safari. We will also typically include a night drive in an open-air safari vehicle operated by a park ranger – an exciting peek into the world of the park’s nocturnal wildlife.
