7 Day Extensive Kruger Park Self-Drive Tour

On arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, collect your travel documents and rental vehicle before driving east toward Kruger National Park. This itinerary is best aligned as a northbound and then southbound circuit: enter the park and continue to Letaba Rest Camp for two nights, where the river setting and surrounding mopane veld are well known for elephant sightings and varied birdlife. From Letaba, continue south to Satara Rest Camp for two nights in one of Kruger’s best-known wildlife areas, especially rewarding for big game viewing in open grassland country.
