Le Mirage

Le Mirage sits on the C27 about 21 km from Sesriem, the gateway to Sossusvlei inside Namib-Naukluft National Park. The lodge’s castle-like silhouette rises from gravel plains framed by low inselberg hills, giving wide-angle views and effortless access to the region’s headline sights, including Deadvlei and Sesriem Canyon. Self-drivers reach the property on good gravel from either Windhoek or Swakopmund, while scenic flights and ballooning are arranged with trusted local operators.

The lodge offers 27 spacious, air-conditioned rooms with balconies, minibars and safes, configured for twin/double or family use. Décor is clean and contemporary against rough-hewn exterior walls, with open-plan bathrooms in most units. Two tower “open-air” sleep-out rooms can be booked as an add-on experience for guests who want to admire Namibia’s famously clear night skies from a proper bed. Wi-Fi is typically available in communal areas, and daily housekeeping keeps things fresh for early starts to the dunes.

Central facilities include a full-service spa offering massages, hydrotherapy and beauty treatments, plus a swimming pool and jacuzzi for cooling off after dune climbs.
