Highlights & What to Expect

The lodge offers early morning nature drives accompanied by a professional guide. View the stunning red dunes of Sossusvlei, explore Sesriem Canyon, and visit Deadvlei.
The afternoons are devoted to nature activities on the reserve. Despite the low rainfall, many animals have adapted to desert life.
Book an early morning balloon ride to view the desert from the sky. It is a fantastic experience, drifting silently across the dunes at first light. At the landing site, a special champagne breakfast is served.
Quad biking over the desert landscape in the company of a local guide offers a unique perspective from which to savor the landscape, fauna, and flora.

Location & Setting

Smack in the sweep of nowhere are the best words to describe the location of Le Mirage. When you first look at the resort in the distance, you will realize it could not possibly have a more fitting name. It is just over twenty kilometers from the Sesriem entry gate to Sossusvlei and a drive of about four and a half hours from Windhoek.

Rooms

The lodge offers twenty-nine luxury rooms with en suite bathrooms, balconies, safes, and minibars. Rooms are air-conditioned and feature spacious open-plan bathrooms. Two of the rooms in the towers are open-air - admire the spectacular clear night skies from the comfort of your bed and experience on offer almost nowhere else.

Facilities

The spa specializes in massages, hydrotherapy, and beauty treatments. The restaurant and bar offer delightful meals, while the pool allows visitors to cool off - the desert can get hot in the summer months. Activities that guests can participate in revolve around the desert environment and the Namib-Naukluft Park.
