Location & Setting

The charming Ai-Aiba Rock Painting Lodge is located in Damaraland, Namibia. The lodge's location in the Erongo Mountains' remarkable granite boulders makes for an incredible setting. It was constructed from natural materials like stone, thatch, and wood to blend in with its surroundings and create a peaceful atmosphere. Damaraland has a rich history and features eroded remnants of a volcanic complex that is 130 million years old.

Rooms

The lodge offers ten chalets, each with two rooms, tastefully decorated with regional furnishings and African-inspired décor. Each chalet is built of stone and has a thatched roof. All the contemporary comforts for a comfortable stay include air conditioning and private bathrooms with hot showers. Private terraces with breathtaking views of the Erongo Mountains are another feature of the rooms.

Facilities

The lodge's outdoor pool is ideal for unwinding and cooling off after a strenuous day of exploring the area. Lush gardens surround the pool area. The lodge offers a restaurant and bar where guests can enjoy delicious meals and relax with a drink in hand. Available activities include bird watching, guided nature walks, and hiking trails.
