Location & Setting

The Inn is near Aus in southern Namibia. It is roughly five hours from most camps and lodges at Sossusvlei and three and a half hours from the Fish River Canyon. When visiting Desert Horse Inn, it is sure to be apparent that the property is family-owned and-managed with authentic hospitality and exceptional service levels.

Rooms

Though not luxurious by any standard, Desert Horse Inn offers comfortable accommodation in twenty-six twin rooms and four quadruple rooms. Four of these rooms are part of the old farmhouse, while the other twenty are made up of free-standing chalets. The central area offers a bar and restaurant and an outside viewing deck, from where it seems possible to stare out into eternity.

Facilities

There is a restaurant, bar, and a spacious lounge area. The outside deck offers superb views of the surroundings and leads to a swimming pool. It is one of the most popular facilities in the warm summer months. WiFi is available, as is mobile reception. Children of all ages are welcome at Desert Horse Inn.
