Linyanti Ebony rests within Botswana’s private Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, a wild buffer west of Chobe National Park famed for sweeping floodplains, riverine woodland, and mopane forest.

Location & Setting

The camp overlooks the Linyanti River system, a dry-season magnet for elephant and buffalo, while predators patrol the marsh edge. Being on a private concession enables flexible activity timings and after-dark drives not allowed in national parks. Access is by light aircraft to Linyanti Airstrip, about an hour from Maun or 35 minutes from Kasane, followed by a short game-drive transfer, your first chance to meet the reserve’s prolific wildlife.

With only four tented suites (one a two-bedroom family unit), Linyanti Ebony feels genuinely personal. Canvas-and-thatch structures sit on raised wooden decks, angled for views across the floodplain.
