Location & Setting

Somalisa Mahogany provides a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere and fosters a seamless connection to nature. Camp interiors are tastefully decorated with African-inspired décor. The exterior is constructed from wood, thatch, and canvas. Its setting in the central part of Hwange ensures exceptional game viewing and a sense of being in Africa in a different age. A waterhole overlooked by the camp offers the opportunity to view wildlife while you are relaxing.

Rooms

Tented suites are thoughtfully designed and tastefully decorated to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment. Each features a private veranda with views of the surrounding bush. The camp consists of two family tents with inter-leading walkways connecting the parent's and children's en-suite rooms and two stand-alone suites. Tents feature spacious rooms and full bathrooms that offer indoor and outdoor showers.

Facilities

The camp's main central area has a lounge, dining area, and viewing deck. Most meals and drinks are enjoyed here. Sun loungers surround a pool area, ideal for sunning and relaxing between safari adventures. Somalisa offers massages and wellness services. Ngwana Club caters to children and strives to educate them about the natural world and conservation in a fun and engaging way.
