Location & Setting

Somalisa Mahogany provides a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere and fosters a seamless connection to nature. Camp interiors are tastefully decorated with African-inspired décor. The exterior is constructed from wood, thatch, and canvas. Its setting in the central part of Hwange ensures exceptional game viewing and a sense of being in Africa in a different age. A waterhole overlooked by the camp offers the opportunity to view wildlife while you are relaxing.

Rooms

Tented suites are thoughtfully designed and tastefully decorated to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment. Each features a private veranda with views of the surrounding bush. The camp consists of two family tents with inter-leading walkways connecting the parent's and children's en-suite rooms and two stand-alone suites. Tents feature spacious rooms and full bathrooms that offer indoor and outdoor showers.

Facilities

The camp's main central area has a lounge, dining area, and viewing deck. Most meals and drinks are enjoyed here. Sun loungers surround a pool area, ideal for sunning and relaxing between safari adventures. Somalisa offers massages and wellness services.
