Location & Setting

Matetsi River Lodge fashioned its buildings and suites out of local granite and thatch to seamlessly blend into the landscape. It offers superb views of the Zambezi River, forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Here, you will experience the perfect combination of safari and river activities in a tranquil setting and luxurious accommodations.

Luxurious suites marry classic safari style with modern comforts. Each features an outdoor deck with views framing the Zambezi River and surrounding savannah. The lodge offers a four-bedroom private villa, a family suite, and luxury suites. All are spacious and luxurious, with decorations that enhance the safari atmosphere. Each has a private plunge pool.

Facilities

Spacious guest areas are located on the lodge's eastern and western sides. Each features indoor and outdoor living spaces, dining areas, and a lounge. The copper bars are a unique feature where guests delight after a day of wilderness activities with a drink, sharing tales of the day's adventures. Central guest areas also feature "Bomas" for a unique dining experience under the star-lit African Sky.
