Location & Setting

The lodge has glorious views of a waterhole where elephant and antelope species come to quench their thirst. The natural setting is pristine, with towering trees in camp and wooded savannah stretching as far as the eye can see. Gomo Gomo is a drive of under an hour from the airport in Hoedspruit.

Rooms

The lodge accommodates its guests in rustic, fully furnished brick and thatch chalets with en suite facilities. There are eight chalets in total, sleeping between two and four guests. Chalets are comfortable, though not luxurious - the overall service standards are high, and the safari experience is unforgettable.

Facilities

Meals are served in the thatched dining room overlooking a watering hole, where one might just be spoilt with an animal encounter while enjoying breakfast and lunch. Dinners are served in the boma, where a roaring bushveld fire adds to the safari experience. Guests at Gomo Gomo Lodge can relax in the swimming pool during the day or on the patio in the shade of a century-old tree.
