Location & Setting

The camp is adjacent to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park in an area with breathtaking contrasts between the dry Kalahari Desert and the lush oasis created by the Boteti River. This unique location attracts abundant wildlife and is a haven for animals and those who wish to observe and photograph them in a magnificent wilderness area.


Leroo La Tau has 12 suites, providing guests a luxurious and private experience. These large suites' elegant and comfortable design combines contemporary conveniences and vintage safari charm. Each suite has a spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The rooms are decorated with furniture influenced by Africa and earthy tones, resulting in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Large windows offer breathtaking views of the surroundings.


The main lodge area has an open-sided layout with a thatched roof that lets in a gentle breeze and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the river and the wildlife that drink from it. Mouthwatering cuisine is served in the lodge's dining area. Leroo La Tau offers a sleepout experience where guests can spend the night in the wild with only the star-studded sky and sounds of the wilderness for company.
