Location & Setting
The camp is on the banks of the Luangwa River within the Luangwa Valley, a branch of Africa’s Great Rift System. South Luangwa National Park is one of the continent’s premier conservation areas, known for high densities of wildlife and outstanding safari experiences. The camp typically operates from about April to November.
Rooms
The five bush suites are spacious and feature sunken bathtubs and large private verandas overlooking the river. Décor is simple and handsome, with dark wood accents and fresh whites. A full-board dining plan keeps you comfortably based in the bush between activities.
Facilities
South Luangwa supports over 60 mammal species and more than 450 recorded bird species. Activities include twice-daily game drives and guided walking safaris led by knowledgeable guides and armed scouts. Between outings, relax by the pool and watch wildlife along the riverbank.
