Your request will not be generated automatically or passed through a large reservations department. Andrew or Riaan will consider the route, travel pace, accommodation, activities and practical arrangements before bringing everything together in a detailed proposal.

Request
Send us your preferred travel dates, trip length, party size, room requirements, interests, destinations and accommodation preferences.
Questions and Clarification
After reviewing your request, your consultant may ask a few additional questions before preparing the first itinerary.
Initial Proposal
An initial itinerary and costing are normally prepared within one working day once all the necessary information has been received. This provides a starting point for further discussion.
Refinement and Final Proposal
Questions and requested changes are discussed with you, and the itinerary is revised until the proposed arrangements suit you.
Booking
Once the proposal is approved, the agreed services are confirmed and your reservation documentation is issued. A 20% deposit secures the booking, with the balance due 45 days before arrival.
Arrival and Service
On privately guided tours, an African Sky guide accompanies the touring portions of the itinerary and manages the daily arrangements. For lodge-based safaris and honeymoon packages, African Sky coordinates the accommodation, regional flights, transfers and local services included in the journey.
What We Take Into Account

Destinations, activities and accommodation are selected based on what you would most like to experience. Dietary, mobility and other practical requirements are considered from the beginning.
Trip Length and Time of Year
Some destinations are better at certain times of year. Enough time is also allowed at each stop so that the itinerary does not feel rushed.
Size of Your Group
The number of travelers affects vehicle arrangements, room configurations, lodge availability and whether private or exclusive-use options are practical.
Budget
The available budget influences the destinations, accommodation and transport recommended. Botswana’s remote camps and charter flights generally cost more, while South Africa offers good options across a wider range of budgets.
Local Conditions, Logistics and Safety
Routes, transfer times and connections are planned with local conditions in mind, particularly when combining remote destinations. Areas of concern are avoided, and practical advice is provided for the regions included in your itinerary.
