Itinerary
The private trip travels west, passing the scenic Hartbeespoort Dam en route to Pilanesberg National Park, adjacent to the famous Sun City Resort complex. The 55 000 Ha National Park is set in the eroded crater of a long-extinct volcano. Some time is devoted to a game drive in search of the many mammal species that inhabit the park, including Africa's legendary Big Five.
A late lunch is followed by a short drive to Sun City, where the afternoon is devoted to exploring this magnificent resort. Its unique architectural style, artificial lakes, and tropical gardens are a feast for the eye. The trip returns from Sun City in the late afternoon.
