The tour travels via the scenic Hartebeestpoort area to the Lesedi cultural village, where the Monati Cultural experience is enjoyed. Lesedi is a multicultural village set in pristine bushveld amongst rocky hills, less than an hour’s drive north of Johannesburg. The cultures, customs and traditions of four of South Africa’s tribes are brought to life at Lesedi. The Zulu is Southern Africa’s warrior nation which was once led by the legendary King Shaka. He is generally revered as the greatest native military tactician ever to do battle in Southern Africa. Lesedi provides a unique insight into the lifestyle of the Zulu Tribe. Other tribes which feature during this cultural experience are the Xhosa, Basotho and Pedi. A tribal dance display is then followed by a culturally inspired lunch after which the tour makes its way to the Lion Park.

The tour of the Lion Park is devoted to and informative insight into Africa’s most feared and respected predator. The habits and behavior of the Lion is discussed by a local expert. Guests then have the opportunity to view in close proximity a large number of these cats. In addition to the Lion this park is also home to an abundance of other predator and herbivore species. The game viewing experience at the Lion Park is followed by a return journey to your hotel or guests house, where this day tour ends.
