Travel in South Africa

Time of Year
Each season has it's own unique beauty , and South and Southern Africa has much to offer throughout the year. In general the southern area of Southern Africa is more pleasant during the summer months (October to March). The northern parts of the country as well as the countries to the north of South Africa could be considered more pleasant during the winter months from May to August. It is the authors opinion that April and September are the finest months for traveling in South Africa. For more details of the weather conditions which can be expected please visit the web site of the South African weather service.
