Mombo Camp is one of the finest camps located in the Moremi Game Reserve which is part of Botswana’s Okavango Delta.  The reserve is the first in the world to be conserved by tribal people, rather than colonial people. To the north of the Simbra was an area the locals called “Borea", that was untouched because of the many waters trapping it.  Borea is now called Mombo.  Mombo is the only place in Botswana where the Big Five can be seen on one safari.

One of the most luxurious accommodations in Africa is found in Mombo Camp’s nine fully furnished tents, raised from the ground on wooden decks.  The private balconies, in front of the tents, offer spectacular views of the flood plains.  Deck chairs and a hammock are the perfect location for relaxing with a magnificent view.  The en-suite bathrooms have bath crystals, for guests to unwind, or guests can shower under the stars in the outside shower at Mombo Camp.
Raised on wooden decks, the main areas at Mombo Camp also have extraordinary views of the flood plains. 

Guests are sure to spot the local wildlife as they pass through the area from their vantage point at Mombo. The floodplain's can also be appreciated from the comfort of the sofas in the lounge area.  A plunge pool on the campgrounds helps guests unwind on a hot day.  The dining area is located under the stars and superb dishes are served here.

Activities on offer are game drives in the morning and the evening. During times when the water is deep enough, motorboat trips are held or for a slower alternative, glide over the water in a dug out canoe known as a Mokoro. Nature walks are held when conditions are favourable. Other than game viewing, the waterway is the perfect place for bird watching, as the reeds is a bird’s paradise.
