The Marine Hotel

The 4-Star Protea Hotel Marine overlooks the sandy Pollock Beach of Port Elizabeth, with spectacular views of Algoa Bay. The Protea Hotel Marine hosts guests in sixty four standard bedrooms in the Tower block, and thirty four executive rooms, suites and loft apartments.  The standard rooms only have basic amenities like air-conditioning. The club rooms are slightly larger than the standard room with an added kitchenette, whereas the family suites also have two bathrooms, one en-suite and the other separate for the kids.  The other rooms all have an extra sitting area and kitchenette.  The third floor rooms are duplex, loft style with the bedroom on the upper level.  The loft apartments, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, are ideal for families, traveling to this coastal city. The Presidential suite boasts a dining room, living room and kitchenette, and to add to comfort the main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom as well as a jacuzzi.
