Accommodation at Skukuza Camp
Guests can choose from a wide variety of accommodation that this Kruger National Park camp offers. A four bedroom family cottage, with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and bathroom plus as an added bonus a river view is available.

178 Bungalows equipped with en-suite bathroom either with a shower or bath. Some air-conditioned and others with an overhead fan and all with kitchenettes. The bungalows consist of either 2 to 3 beds.

20 Air conditioned Luxury bungalows some with river views, each with a double bed. The bungalows include televisions with limited DSTV channels.  The guests can make use of the communal kitchen and washing up facilities.

80 Camp or caravan sites with power points are available.  The guests can make use of the communal ablution and cooking facilities. Maximum of 6 people per camp site is allowed.

20 Safari tents on wooden stilts consist of one bedroom with either 2 or 4 single beds. The tents include furniture, electrical fan and fridge.  Guests can make use of the communal kitchen and ablution facilities that the Skukuza Camp offers.

The camp also boasts a selection of 4 guesthouses. The guesthouses can accommodate up to 12 guests.  The units consist of either 3 to four bedrooms either with single or double beds, includes en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower.  All rooms are air-conditioned.

Guests can also make use of the dining room, lounge, kitchen, veranda and braai facilities. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, fridge and cooking utensils.
There is one dormitory with a girl and boy section.  Both sections sleep 32.

Activities at the Skukuza Camp

The Skukuza Camp that is the largest rest camp in the Kruger National Park has a majestic 9-hole golf course. The camp also provides the opportunity to view wildlife documentaries on at the outdoor amphitheater.  The research Centre in the camp has both a library and a museum. The museum boasts a wide variety of artifacts such as the knife that Harry Wolhuter used to single-handedly slay a lion and a fine collection of ecologically orientated books, paintings and other memorabilia.

The camp offers morning and evening bush walks as well as dawn and evening game drives. Riverside walks and wilderness trail hikes can also be taken by guests. On the sandbanks of the river, hippos and crocodiles can be seen as they laze in the hot southern sun.

An old railway carriage was converted into a sports bar.  The camp also has the Selati Restaurant that offers fine cuisine. There is also Conference facilities that can host up to 158 people.  Other facilities include 3 swimming pools, a Laundromat, Cafeteria, Shop, Post office, Petrol station, Car wash, Garage with workshop and Basic first aid.
