Accommodation at Satara Rest Camp
There are 152 Bungalows available.  57 air-conditioned bungalows sleep between 2-3 guests, each with a kitchen and bathroom with a shower. One luxury bungalow is fitted with 2 beds and a sleeper couch.  Additional features include and open air kitchen with a microwave, cooker plate, fridge, cooking utensils, and outside braai facility.

Alternatively 75 of the air-conditioned bungalows are 2 or 3 bed units. Each bungalow has a bathroom with a shower.  Utensil boxes can be rented.

19 Bungalows that sleep 2 guests with an exquisite view includes a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, cooking utensils and en-suite bathroom with a shower are also available.
2 of the Bungalows are handicap friendly.

10 Guest cottages with 5 or 6 beds are available.  The 6 bed cottages include an equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms with 3 beds each and en-suite bathroom with a bath. The kitchen has a gas stove with an oven, fridge and cooking utensils.

The camp also provides a selection of guesthouses – Frankel, Stanley and Wells.
The Frankel Guesthouse has 10 beds, the Stanley Guesthouse 9 beds and the Wells Guesthouse 6 beds.  The Frankel and Stanley Guesthouse overlook the waterhole. Most of the rooms have fully equipped self-catering kitchens and comes with en-suite bathrooms.
100 camp or caravan sites with power points are also available. Guests can make use of the communal ablution, cooking and washing up facilities. A maximum of 6 guests are allowed per site.

Activities at Satara Rest Camp

This Kruger National Park Camp offers morning and evening bush walks. Guest can also choose out of a variety of game drives, either at dawn, mid-morning, sunset or a late night drive.
For an educational experience documentary films about wildlife can be viewed at the open air Theatre.

Indigenous animals to this regionare Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, herds of Antelopes, Rhinos and Blue Wildebeest which can be seen at the 3 dams and 6 waterholes that is in close proximity to the Satara Camp.

The Sweni Bird Hide provides an excellent opportunity for bird watching and birds such as the Redbilled buffalo weaver, Pearlspotted owls and Eagles have been noted.
The Satara camp that is the third largest camp in the Kruger National Park also has a grocery store with a wide variety of products, picnic facilities and a restaurant.
