Lower Sabi Rest Camp

With large shaded trees, colossal green lawns, picnic sites, the lower Sabie Camp situated on the banks of the Sabie River and is an idealistic setting.

Accommodation at Lower Sabie Camp
The camp offers 28 huts varying from 2, 3 or 5 bedroom units, 4 one bedroom units and 26 multiple bedroom units are offered. The huts are air-conditioned with a fridge. A communal kitchen with electric stoves and washing up facilities are available for guests.

24 tents with 2 beds are situated on stilts. Some tents have a riverside view. The tents have a fridge, overhead and are furthermore fully equipped.

There are also 33 camp/caravan sites, each with a power point.  The guest can use the communal ablution, cooking and washing up facilities.

60 air-conditioned bungalows equipped each with a fridge. 58 of these bungalows have 2 bedrooms with a shower. The guests can make use of the communal kitchen facilities. 2 of the bungalows have 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and kitchenette.

There are also 2 family bungalows with 5 bedrooms, en-suite bathroom and kitchenette.
Keartland Guest House provides luxury accommodation for guests overlooking the Sabie River. All the rooms are air-conditioned, have a carport and DSTV.

The new added semi luxury 2 bedded tents are idyllic for the romantic couples seeking utmost privacy in a natural majestic setting. All tents are equipped with an overhead fan, fridge and veranda, with some overlooking the Sabie River.

Activities at Lower Sabi Camp

At Lower Sabie guests can track Rhinos, Elephants and Lions on foot. The camp furthermore provides game drives and bush walk opportunities. The camp also has a swimming pool. With the river situated so closely to the camp, this rugged terrain will provide endless viewing of wildlife that is attracted to the water.

The Lower Sabie Camp is ideal for the bird watching enthusiast. The fever tree flower, Sycamore Fig Tree, and Marula trees are some of the flora that gives an emerald glow to this region of the Kruger National Park.
