Berg en Dal Rest Camp

Situated on the banks of the Matjulu Spruit, the Berg en Dal Camp is on the south western corner of the Kruger National Park.

Accommodation at Berg en Dal
Berg en Dal offers you a wide variety of accommodation facilities including 23 fully equipped self-catering, family cottages with open plan kitchens. One bedroom consists of a double bed and the other bedroom 2 single beds. The lounge also has 2 bench-beds.
69 Bungalows with 2-3 single beds including en-suite bathroom with a shower.  Some units have kitchenettes on the veranda.

72 Camp/caravan sites equipped with power points are available. There are also cooking and washing up facilities and a communal ablution that guests can make use of.
There are also 2 luxury guesthouses. (J Le Roux and Rhino Guest House)
The J Le Roux Guesthouse has 3 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 people. The one bedroom has a bathroom en-suite and the other bathroom has a separate toilet and shower.  Extra facilities include a lapa, braai area and carport.

The Rhino Guesthouse has 4 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8 people.  Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the other a bath and basin. Extra facilities include a dining room, 2 lapa's, an outside braai area and carport.

All rooms are air-conditioned.
The accommodation is designed to give guests the utmost privacy.

Activities at Berg en Dal
Berg en Dal offers a wide variety of activities.  San bushman paintings can be found on the Bushman trail. The trail is in Braille to accommodate visually impaired hikers. Morning and Evening Game drives are available to appreciate and experience wildlife at its finest. Leopards, Elephants and White rhinos, are three of the big 5 that you will find within this striking region.

As an added entertainment feature, the film auditorium shows educational documentaries and films about wildlife every evening except on Sundays.  There is also a swimming pool with flowing water over the natural rocks, Grocery store with a wide variety of products, Curio shop capturing the essence of the African culture, a Laundromat, Internet café, Petrol station, astounding picnic areas, and Conference facility to accommodate 25-320 people. The Berg en Dal camp also offers evening Bush braai's.

Another added charm of the Berg en Dal Camp is the dance performances from traditional dancers. The Berg en Dal restaurant is situated at the main block, overlooking the Matjulu Spruit that gives a tranquil atmosphere with a tantalizing selection of meals and drinks. There is also a large boma for personal parties, special events and much more.
