The Sun City and Safari Tour is a Luxury South Africa Tour experience which combines a visit to the Sun City Resort, with game viewing in the Pilanesberg National Park. The tour is private and can start on any date specified by clients.
At Sun City guests are accommodated in the luxurious Palace Hotel, which is amongst the finest hotels in South Africa. The Safari in Pilanesberg is conducted from a small and exclusive Lodge. From here, two open 4X4 game drives are conducted daily in the Pilanesberg National Park. |

Day 1: Sun City
Guests are met upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg from where the tour travels in a westerly direction past the Hartebeestpoort Dam which lies at the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountain Range. The results of carbon dating has indicated this mountain range to be one of the worlds oldest. A brief stop at Hartebeestpoort Dam from where sweeping views of this scenic area can be enjoyed is followed by an onward journey to Sun City. Sun City is reached within around two hours after departing from Johannesburg International. The afternoon is spent relaxing after the long journey in the magnificent palace hotel. |

Day 2: Sun City
During the morning we visit the local crocodile sanctuary where these ancient creatures can be admired at close quarters. Their habits and behavior come under the spotlight before enjoying a game drive in the Pilanesberg National Park which is adjacent to Sun City. This 55 000 Ha nature reserve is home to the big five as well as a large diversity of grassland game species and a first sighting of the gracious mammals of Africa in their natural surroundings is sure to be a memorable experience. The afternoon is spent at leisure affording guests the opportunity to explore the many different entertainment options available at the Sun City resort. |

Day 3: Pilanesberg National Park
A morning spent relaxing is followed by a transfer to Tshukudu Lodge. After booking into the Tshukudu Game Lodge guests will be treated to lunch and then an afternoon game drive. The rangers will share their intimate knowledge of animals and plants, answering questions and pointing out the wonders of the wild kingdom. Guests will return to the lodge where they can take it easy, view the game as it visits the water hole from the privacy of their own balcony or from the comfort of the Nest area. Or just relax in the sun around the sheltered rock pool. After which sundowners under African skies and a splendid selection of wine will provide the ultimate accompaniment to your five course Dinner. |

Day 4: Pilanesberg National Park
A fresh new day and another opportunity to witness the African bush awake. The morning drive always leaves one with a sense of wonder as the sunrises over the bushveld and the animals begin their day in search of food. All game activities are conducted by experienced field guides, who bring their knowledge and experience to make each drive a fulfilling experience. Special interest trails can be arranged for guests with the option of an escorted game walk . After high tea, guests are taken on a 3 hour game drive. Dinner once again can be enjoyed under the African skies.

Day 5: Departure
A morning game drive to breathe in the African bushveld for one last time is organized. After a lavish breakfast guests will be transported to Johannesburg and assisted with their bookings at the O.R. Tambo Airport for their flight back to their country of origin after a memorable South African experience.
