Day 1: Garden Route
Its off to an early start as the tour makes its way north east en route to the majestic garden route. We cross over the imposing Sir Lowry's pass and devote some time to visiting the town of Swellendam set at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains. The town boasts some fine architecture and has played an important role in the history of South Africa .Before reaching the overnight destination of Knysna a visit is made to George and Wilderness |

Day 2: Garden Route

| The day is devoted to exploring the splendor of the Garden Route as we visit first the Featherbed Nature reserve. This reserve is situated on one of Knysna's famous heads and offers sweeping views of the Knysna Lagoon as well as of the Indian Ocean to the East. The reserve is home to two of the Garden Routes Icons namely the small blue duiker and the Knysna Loerie. Then its on to a stretch of indigenous forest where a walk of about and hour and a half brings guests into contact with South Africa's most important indigenous forest with towering yellowwood trees. |

Day 3: Garden Route
Crossing the Outeniqua mountains we make our way to Oudtshoorn , the ostrich Capital of the world, where a visit is made to the Cango Caves. These caves are amongst the worlds largest and stretch into the limestone of the Swarrtberg Mountains. The visit to Cango is followed by a visit to an Ostrich farm where some insight can be enjoyed into the farming of these largest of the worlds bird species. The brave can even endeavor an ostrich ride. |

Day 4: Departure
A return journey to Cape Town follows breakfast. En route we visit the Bartholomew Diaz museum which is situated in the Coastal Town of Mossel Bay, the town is generally regarded as the Southern entry to the Garden Route and it is here where Bartholomew Dias first set foot on shore in 1488. Before reaching Cape Town a visit is also made to Swellendam with its unique setting and fine examples of Cape Dutch architecture. |
