Day 1: Cape Winelands
|
| We travel to the Town of Somerset West situated at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains where a visit is made to Vergelegen. The estate is one of South Africa's oldest with a magnificent setting that enjoys views of the surrounding mountain ranges as well as False Bay in the distance. Guests enjoy a tour of the cellars as well as a short introduction to wine making which is followed by a sampling of some of South Africa's finest. The tour then makes its way to the Town of Stellenbosch with a visit to one of the wine estates close to town. After some time spent enjoying one of South Africa's oldest towns we make our way to the overnight destination located in Franschhoek. |

Day 2: Cape Winelands
|
| Situated in one of the most picturesque valleys of the Cape, the town of Franschhoek owes its existence to the first French settlers who worked the Drakenstein Valley. Some time is devoted to exploring the town and its memorial to the French Huguenots which is set in a lovely garden before visiting three of the fine wine estates in the Valley, on this Cape Wine Tour. These wine estates are renowned internationally for the exceptional quality of wine produced by its fertile soil. All the noble cultivars and classic styles are on show here. From superb whites such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon and Chenin Blanc to the rich reds of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Merlot. |

Day 3: Departure
|
| The cellars of the west coast around the town of Darling form the focus of the morning as we sample some of the finest Chardonnay's, and Sauvignon Blanc's which are on offer in South Africa. The tour then makes its way back to Cape Town where guests are dropped off at any location of their choice after a closer look at the South African wine producing regions. |
