Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Sun City
Guests will be met upon arrival at the O.R. Tambo(Johannesburg International) from where a two hour drive will bring guests to the Sun City Resort. With a combination of features unmatched anywhere, the resort draws thousands of visitors each year to its four top-quality hotels, sporting and recreational facilities, the magical Lost City water theme park and The Valley of Waves. Guests will be assisted in checking in at their hotel. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure exploring the resort.

Day 2: Sun City
The day will be spent at leisure. For the golfing enthusiast the Sun City golf courses in South Africa are just as spectacular as the rest of the Sun City Resort, with both courses offering the best golf facilities in Africa. The two golf courses were designed by South Africa 's golfing pro Gary Player, and top golf tournaments are played on these courses.

Day 3: Sun City
The day will be spent a leisure. Sun City adventure activities offer guests a range of new and exciting experiences. Enter unknown territory at the outdoor adventure center and allow your adrenaline to start pumping! Elephant Back Riding, Quad Biking, Archery and Clay Pigeon Shooting are some of the activities on offer to guests on offer to guests on this family tour. |

Day 4: Pilanesberg
A 15 minute drive will bring guests to Bakubung located just inside the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The reserve is located in the crater of a long extinct volcano and offers exception family tour accommodation - a fascinating alkaline complex produced by volcanic eruptions some 1300 million years ago. Pilanesberg is one of the largest volcanic complexes of its kind in the world. Its rare rock types and structure make it a unique geological feature. A open vehicle game drive will give guests the opportunity to see the Big Five, various antelope, giraffe, zebra and over 300 different bird species

Day 5: Pilanesberg
The park exists within the transition zone between the dry Kalahari and wetter Lowveld vegetation, commonly referred to as "Bushveld". Unlike any other large park, unique overlaps of mammals, birds and vegetation occur because of this transition zone. Guests will enjoy an early morning and afternoon game drive.

Day 6: Pilanesberg
The beauty of Pilanesberg is reflected in a large central lake, the Mankwe Dam. Over time, wind and water have carved a spectacular landscape with rocky outcrops, open grasslands, wooded valleys and thickets. Another two game drives during the day will be available to guests.

Day 7: Pretoria
After breakfast guests will be met and make their way to Pretoria, the capital of South Africa. Pretoria ia also known as the Jacaranda City , so named for the thousands of Jacaranda trees which line its streets and transforms the city to a purple wonderland during Spring when the trees are in full bloom.On the way guests will visit the De Wildt Cheetah Center. |

Day 8: Plettenberg Bay
A early morning flight will bring guests to the town of George, where guests will be met by their guide and travel to Knysna and then onto Plettenberg Bay. On the way guests will visit Monkeyland and the Birds of Eden Sanctuary. Monkeyland is the world’s first free roaming multi-specie primate sanctuary and aims to create awareness about the plight of primates and to show with a greater understanding of our primate cousins that we can all live in harmony. The Birds of Eden is the world’s largest dome spanning two hectares over a gorge of indigenous forest. The sanctuary has its own mysterious ruin, which incorporates a walk-behind waterfall. The sanctuary’s dome incorporates the ability to synthesize thunder and create short spells of rain from an irrigation system in the dome structure. Roofed viewpoints within the gorge have been erected for use during these brief rain storms. Like Monkeyland, Birds of Eden boasts its own canopy walk. |

Day 9: Plettenberg Bay
The day will be spent at leisure relaxing on one of the fine beaches in the area.

Day 10: Plettenberg Bay
Depending on the season guests will enjoy one of the following two boat cruises departing from the Plettenberg Bay docks. Throughout the year guests can join the Discovery Cruise where guests will typically look for dolphins and visit the seal colony on the Robberg Peninsula. Should guests encounter any whales on the trip; the boat will not be able to approach to a distance of less than 300 meters. The Premium Cruise is primarily conducted in Whale Season (July to November), although you can opt for this cruise at any time throughout the year. This cruise will offer passengers the opportunity to get within a couple of feet of some of the largest creatures on the planet. The main focus is on finding whales, then dolphins and if time permits a visit to the seal colony. The afternoon will bring guests to the Knysna Elephant Sanctuary. The Sanctuary provides a safe-haven for six African elephants and offers guests interactive elephant experiences. Experience the famous Knysna forest alongside the African elephants on a guided nature walk through the fynbos at elephant pace. Get a once in a lifetime opportunity to follow in the footsteps of these incredible creatures. |

Day 11: Cape Town
A full day drive will bring guests to Cape Town, South Africa’s oldest city. On the way guests will spend some time exploring the town of Knysna before guests reach the coastal City of Mossel Bay. Guests will visit the Bartholomew Dias Museum which marks the spot of the historical landing of Dias and a 500 year old Post Office Tree. The Maritime Museum houses a replica of the caravel on which Dias arrived. Guests will travel through Swellendam before descending the St Lowery’s Pass and reaching Cape Town.

Day 12: Cape Town
After a delicious breakfast guests will be taken along a breathtaking drive, known as Chapman's Peak Drive. This Drive, hugs the near-vertical face of Chapman's Peak from Hout Bay to Noordhoek. Cut out of the face of the mountain between 1915 and 1922, the road was at the time regarded as a major feat of engineering. The road leads to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. In the nature reserve we visit Cape Point where the stormy waters of the Atlantic are reputedly met by the calming influence of the Indian Ocean. On the return journey to Cape Town we visit the towns of Simonstad and Muizenberg which are set along the shores of the Indian Ocean. On the way we will visit Boulders Beach an attractive secluded haven, which comprises a tumble of huge round rocks on a sandy shore . The boulders are an ideal vantage point for watching the antics of the colony of mainland-based African penguins. |

Day 13: Cape Town
The Two Oceans Aquarium on the V&A Waterfront showcases the incredible diversity of marine life found in the Indian and Atlantic oceans. With over 3000 living sea animals, including sharks, fishes, turtles and penguins guests will experience one of the finest marine life collections in the world. After some time is allowed exploring the Aquarium and the Waterfront the Table Mountain Cable Car will take guests all the way to the top of Table Mountain from where they will enjoy a spectacular view of the Cape Peninsula, Robben Island and Lions Head. |

Day 14: Departure
The morning will be spent at leisure allowing guests for some last minute shopping or time on the beach; guests will be assisted to their international flight returning home after a memorable time in South Africa. |
