Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Sabi Sand
Guests are met at any location of their choice in either Johannesburg or Pretoria from where they are transferred to Johannesburg Airport ( O. R. Tambo) for a flight to the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. The Reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park , one of the worlds foremost conservation areas. The diversity of species which can be viewed in the Sabi Sand is rivaled almost nowhere else in the world. After some time for lunch and relaxation, guests enjoy a first game drive in this wilderness area accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker.

Day 2: Sabi Sand
The day is devoted to two open 4X4 safaris accompanied by your experienced ranger and tracker. In addition to the legendary Big Five the reserve is home to a large number of different mammal, bird and reptile species the habits and behavior of which will be highlighted by your ranger. Leopard sightings in the Sabi Sand are common and it is the best place in Africa to view these solitary cats in their natural environment.

Day 3: Sabi Sand

A sky coloured gloriously by the rising sun greets guests on an early morning game drive admiring the antelope of Africa as they ready themselves for a day of grazing or browsing after the nervousness of night, when they are at their most vulnerable to the many predators in the area. Highlights of the day are sure to include sightings of one of the Big Five. The Rhino, Lion , Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant received this well known collective name in times past when the first European Hunters in Africa regarded them as the most dangerous animals on the continent. A game drive conducted during the late afternoon and early evening could offer the opportunity of spotting one of the Big Cats, readying themselves for the hunt. Both the Leopard and Lion are nocturnal and would mostly be more active during this period of the day.

Day 4: Johannesburg
A last morning safari in the Sabi Sand is followed by breakfast after which guests are transferred to a local airstrip for a flight to Johannesburg. Guests will be met upon arrival at Johannesburg International Airport (O.R. Tambo) from where they are transferred to their overnight destination in Sandton. Sandton is an exclusive area north of Johannesburg , it has in recent years become the headquarters of corporate South Africa with a resulting change in the Sky Line. The area is vibrant and is home to a great number of shopping centers and restaurants. Numerous theatres and cinema's add to the cultural experiences which can be enjoyed in the area.

Day 5: Livingstone ( Vic Falls Safari)
After breakfast guests are transferred to Johannesburg Airport (O.R. Tambo) for a flight to Livingstone. The town is set close to the banks of the Zambezi River which forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. After checking in at the hotel we visit the Livingstone Museum which houses works of the legendary explorer and also highlights some of the routes of his journeys through his beloved Africa. Some time is then devoted to visiting a few different vantage points from where the majestic Victoria Falls can be viewed before returning to the hotel during the late afternoon.

Day 6: Livingstone ( Vic Falls Safari)
The morning is devoted to visiting the falls section of the "Mosi oa Tunya National Park". The name translates to" the smoke that thunders" which is the name locals have given the Victoria Falls. The sanctuary affords incredible views of the falls and during the dry season we walk across to Livingstone Island for a heart stopping peak across the edge of the falls. The park is home to the last Rhino in Zambia and guests might sight Zebra, Giraffe and from time to time Elephant passing through the area.

After some time for relaxation guests enjoy a late afternoon sunset cruise on the Zambezi. Enjoying an African sunset while watching game come down to the waters edge for a late afternoon drink is sure to be an experience which will be remembered. After the sunset cruise guests are transferred back to their hotel.

Day 7: Departure
Breakfast is followed by a transfer to Livingstone Airport for a flight to Johannesburg where guests are met and transferred to any location of their choice in either Johannesburg or Pretoria or they are assisted with checking in to a connecting flight back to their country of origin after a memorable South African experience.
