In both the Linyanti as well as the Okavango Delta safari area two game activities are conducted daily by experienced rangers and trackers. The game activities alternate between land based and water based game viewing. Mombo and Kings Pool camp are two of the most exclusive safari camps in Botswana.

African Safari Itinerary

Day 1 - 3: Okavango Delta Safari Guests are met at any location of their choice in either Johannesburg or Pretoria from where they are transferred to O.R. Tambo International Airport for a flight to Maun. In Maun a light charter waits to fly guests to the heart of the Okavango Delta and the luxurious Mombo Camp. The Okavango River, which rises in the highlands of Angola, never reaches the sea. Instead, its mighty waters empty over the sand of the Kalahari. Here the thirst land of the south meets a blue-green wilderness of fresh water, with emerald reed beds and towering trees. The late afternoon is devoted to a first Okavango Delta Safari accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker in an area where the wilderness and the species that grace it have largely survived untouched by time and humanity. Guests spend three nights at Mombo Camp where two game activities are conducted daily by experienced rangers and trackers.

Day 4-6: Linyanti Safari A last morning safari experience at Mombo is followed by a short flight to Kings Pool which is situated in the 125 000 Ha Linyanti Reserve, to the north of the Okavango Delta. The Linyanti Swamp which is fed by the Kwando River is the heart of this wildlife refuge which attracts elephant by the thousands. Guests spend three nights at Kings Pool with two game activities conducted daily by the experienced rangers and trackers based at the Lodge. The Linyanti area is not as well known as the Okavango, but the area offers exceptional game viewing in one of Africa's truly wild places.

Day 7: Departure
A last morning game drive in Linyanti is followed by breakfast after which guests fly first to Maun and from there onward to Johannesburg. Guests are met upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg from where they are transferred to an location of their choice after a memorable top end safari experience in Botswana.
