The Kruger and Victoria Falls Safari combines two of the most popular destinations in Southern Africa. This African Safari departs from and returns to Johannesburg.
It is a fly in safari packages which enjoys three nights on safari in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. Here two open 4 x 4 Safaris are conducted daily in search of Africa's legendary Big Five. A combination night is then spent in Pretoria before visiting the Victoria Falls. |

Africa Safari Itinerary |

Day 1: Greater Kruger National Park
Guests are met upon arrival at Johannesburg International Airport and are assisted in transferring to their charter flight bound for the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. The reserve is named after the two principal rivers which flow through it, namely the Sabi and the Sand, and covers an area of approximately sixty five thousand hectares of pristine African wilderness. The reserve is part of the Greater Kruger National Park and is home to most of South Africa's finest Safari Lodges. The late afternoon is devoted to a first game drive in search of Africa's legendary Big Five in an area where many other mammal and bird species grace the African Savannah and give meaning to the words " Spirit of Africa" on this Southern Africa safari . |

Day 2: Greater Kruger National Park
An early morning and late afternoon game drive in the company of your experienced ranger and tracker fill a day of wonder as the rhythms of the wilderness and the laws that govern life in a remote ecosystem become more apparent. A sighting of the legendary Big Five, regarded to be the most majestic and awe inspiring mammals to be found anywhere in the world, would most certainly be a highlight of the safari. In addition to the lion, elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo and leopard, the reserve is blessed with a rich diversity of antelope and other mammal species. The day will be completed with a night drive accompanied by one of the professional Game Rangers. Night drives become the highlight of the bush experience offering glimpses of nocturnal animals often not seen during the day. |

Day 3: Greater Kruger National Park
The ever-changing moods of this land will capture your soul as the day is once again devoted to exploring this wilderness area from the back of open 4X4 vehicles or on foot during the bush walk. The lesser creatures of the land, though not as well known, contribute as much to the ecosystem. Great delight can often be found from witnessing these creatures as they go about their daily routines. All life and the delicate balance that exists between them is protected in this area which is a treasure over which we should be wise custodians. |

Day 4: Pretoria
A last morning game drive in this wilderness area is followed by a charter flight to Johannesburg where guests are met and transferred to their hotel in Pretoria. After some time for freshening up at the hotel, guests are invited to spend the evening in the company of their hosts for a traditional South African BBQ before starting the next leg of their Southern African Safari. |

Day 5: Livingstone ( Victoria Falls Safari)
Guests are transferred to Johannesburg International (O.R. Tambo) for a flight to Livingstone which is set on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River in which the mighty Victoria Falls occur. After some time for relaxation the Victoria Falls Safari starts with guests enjoying a late afternoon sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Enjoying an African sunset while watching game come down to the waters edge for a late afternoon drink is sure to be an experience which will be remembered. After the sunset cruise guests are transferred back to their hotel. |

Day 6: Livingstone ( Victoria Falls Safari)
The morning is devoted to visiting the falls section of the "Mosi oa Tunya National Park". The name translates to" the smoke that thunders" which is the name locals have given the Victoria Falls.
The sanctuary affords incredible views of the falls and during the dry season we walk across to Livingstone Island for a heart stopping peak across the edge of the falls. The park is home to the last Rhino in Zambia and guests might sight Zebra, Giraffe and from time to time Elephant also pass through the area.The afternoon is spent at leisure relaxing in these tranquil surroundings. |
Day 7: Departure
A last glimpse of the thundering Victoria Falls is followed by breakfast after which guests are transferred to Livingstone Airport for a flight to Johannesburg where the Victoria Falls Safari ends. Guests are met upon arrival at Johannesburg International (O.R. Tambo) and are assisted with checking in to a connecting flight or are transferred to any location of their choice in either Johannesburg or Pretoria. |
