Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Victoria Falls
Guests are met anywhere in Pretoria or Johannesburg from where they are transferred to Johannesburg International Airport fro a flight to Victoria Falls. Guests are met at Victoria Falls Airport from where visits are made to vantage points from where the majestic falls can be admired. This is followed by check in at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge and some time for relaxation after which an afternoon cruise is enjoyed on the mighty Zambezi River which forms the boundary between Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Day 2: Victoria Falls
The day is spent experiencing a wilderness area not far from the Victoria Falls on Elephant back. The experience is unique as these graceful giants make their way through the wilderness affording guests the opportunity of viewing game in silence without the interference of a game drive vehicles engine.

Day 3: Matetsi Wilderness Area
A short drive to the West of Victoria Falls brings guests to the Matetsi Wilderness area which is the largest privately held safari area in Zimbabwe. The afternoon is devoted to a first game drive in this area in search of Africa's Big Five in an area blessed with an abundance of species. Matetsi borders on the Zambezi for many miles.

Day 4: Matetsi Wilderness Area
The day is devoted to two open 4X4 safaris in the Matetsi Wilderness area.

Day 5: Departure
A last morning game drive is followed by breakfast after which guests are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for a flight to Johannesburg where they are met and transferred to any location of their choice in either Johannesburg or Pretoria after a memorable African Safari experience in Zimbabwe.
