Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Kruger National Park
Guests are met at any location of their choice in either Johannesburg or Pretoria from where the tour travels via the Mpumalanga Province and the towns of Lydenburg and Orighstad to Hoedspruit and then on to the Orpen Gate which is the gateway to the central Kruger National Park. The late afternoon is spent at leisure enjoying a sunset over the African wilderness.

Day 2: Kruger National Park
The central Kruger Park is renowned for the high concentration of plains game species which are supported by the relatively open savannah grassland. The plains game herds are closely followed by prides of lion and other predators. The day is devoted to an early morning and late afternoon game dive in the central Kruger National Park led by an experienced guide who's intimate knowledge of the area is sure to make the days game viewing a rewarding experience.

Day 3: Kruger National Park
The Kruger National Park safari makes its way to the southern section of the Kruger National Park while enjoying a game drive which often runs parallel to the banks of the Sabi River. This riverine ecosystem might afford the opportunity of viewing hippopotamus as they wallow in the waters of the river with troops of baboon foraging for fruits and insects in the towering trees lining the riverbank. The overnight destination of Lower Sabi is set on the banks of the Sabi River and is reached around lunch time. Some time for rest and relaxation is followed by an afternoon Kruger National Park safari in the area surrounding Lower Sabi.

Day 4: Kruger National Park

The dense vegetation which often characterizes the area between Lower Sabi and Skukuza is the focus of an early morning game drive in search of the species of mammals which make this area their home. Skukuza is reached for a late breakfast after which some time is devoted to visiting the local museum which depicts the history of the Kruger National Park and where the remarkable tale of one of Kruger's first rangers fight to the death with a Lion comes to light. The safari then returns to Lower Sabi via a different way, with game viewing en route. The afternoon is spent relaxing on the banks of the Sabi River, enjoying sun downers and catching a glimpse of animals coming to the waters edge for a drink.

Day 5: Departure
A last morning game drive in this wilderness area is followed by a breakfast and a return journey to Johannesburg via the national highway. Guests are dropped off at any location of their choice in either Johannesburg or Pretoria after a memorable wilderness safari.
