African Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Okavango Delta Safari
Guests are met at any location of their choice in either Johannesburg or Pretoria and are transferred to O.R. Tambo International Airport for a flight to Maun, from where a charter flight takes them into the heart of one of Africa's most remote and untamed safari areas. The Okavango River, which rises in the highlands of Angola, never reaches the sea. Instead, its mighty waters empty over the sand of the Kalahari. Here the thirst land of the south meets a blue-green wilderness of fresh water, with emerald reed beds and towering trees. The late afternoon is devoted to a first Okavango Delta Safari accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker in an area where the wilderness and the species that grace it have largely survived untouched by time and humanity.
Overnight: Camp Okavango
Meals: Dinner

Day 2: Okavango Delta Safari
The day is spent on an early morning and late afternoon safari game drive. The opportunities to view game and the astonishing bird life are unsurpassed. Professional rangers are experts in their ability to find game, and their knowledge and insight into the habits and behavior of the different species is sure to add to the wonder of the experience. The Okavango, hunted by the Bushmen as long as 10,000 years ago can be described as one of the most beautiful and unique of all Africa's wildlife refuges. It supports the greatest diversity of animals of all Botswana's National Parks and it is the only place in the world where the waters of a great river vanish into the sands of a harsh landscape, creating a unique oasis.
Overnight: Camp Okavango
Meals: Full Board

Day 3: Okavango Delta Safari
The day is devoted to safari game drives, bush walks and Mokoro rides on the waterways of the Okavango. All game activities focus on interpretive viewing of the abundance of mammal and bird species which call the labyrinth of channels and Islands home. From the majesty of the Big Five to the illusive ways of the Puku. The secrets of the wilderness unfold in the company of an experienced ranger. Gliding silently in a pole propelled Mokoro close to the dense reed beds lining the waterways, with the sounds of Africa in your ears is an experience sure to be remembered.
