The Linyanti Safari is a four day exclusive fly in African safari experience which visits the Linyanti Safari area in Botswana. This African safari departs from and returns to Johannesburg.
At Kings Pool Camp two game activities are conducted daily. One during the early morning and one during the late afternoon. The game activities alternate between land based open 4X4 safaris, and water based game viewing. Kings Pool is one of the top safari camps in Botswana. |

African Safari Itinerary |
|

Day 1: Linyanti Safari
Guests are met at any location of their choice in either Johannesburg or Pretoria from where they are transferred to O.R. Tambo International Airport for a flight to Maun and from there a light charter to the Linyanti Safari Area. This 125 000 Ha wilderness area lies to the north of the Okavango Delta. The Linyanti Swamp which is fed by the Kwando River is the heart of this wildlife refuge which attracts elephant by the thousands. The afternoon is devoted to a first safari activity where large herds of buffalo and the Lion which pray on them can potentially be spotted. |

Day 2: Linyanti Safari
The day is devoted to an early morning and late afternoon safari activity in the company of your experienced ranger and tracker. Some rare antelope like the Roan and Sable which are endemic to the area can potentially be spotted in this area of unique ecology. The area is also home to some rare predators like the Leopard and African Wild Dog. There are many varied habitats within the Linyanti, including marshes, waterways, riverine forests, dry woodlands and open grasslands. |

Day 3: Linyanti Safari
A sky colored gloriously by the rising sun heralds a new day in the wilderness of Botswana as coffee and snacks are enjoyed before embarking on the morning game activity. The rhythms of life and the mammals which grace this area of Botswana are experienced on a morning and afternoon safari activity with some time devoted to rest and relaxation during the middle of the day. |

Day 4: Departure
A last morning safari activity is followed by breakfast. Guests then fly to Maun and from there an onward connection to Johannesburg. Guests are met upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International in Johannesburg from where they are transferred to any location of their choice in either Johannesburg or Pretoria, after a memorable Linyanti Safari. |
