Kruger Park Safari Itinerary |

Day 1: Timbavati Private Game Reserve
Guests are met at O.R. Tambo International or any other location of their choice in Johannesburg from where they are assisted with boarding a flight bound for Hoedspruit in the Lowveld region of South Africa, a stones throw from the world renowned Kruger National Park. Guests are met upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport and are transferred to their lodge located in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve. The Timbavati is a Big Five Reserve which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The late afternoon is devoted to a fist wildlife safari in the company of a local ranger and tracker. They say one never forgets your first sunset in the African Wilderness. The Timbavati sure is a fine place to experience this sunset. |

Day 2: Timbavati Private Game Reserve
Two game drives and a bush walk are conducted from the lodge on this day. The early morning and late afternoon game drives are devoted to viewing the abundance of mammal plant and bird species which are protected in the Timbavati. The Big Five normally offers guests the most exciting sightings but it is often the lesser creatures of this land which leave the most lasting and unforgettable memories. |

Day 3: Timbavati Private Game Reserve
A last day of game drives in the Timbavati is sure to be exciting as you become more familiar with the lie of the land and the animals which are passing through at this time. You might re visit a leopard kill or anticipate that a pride of Lion had taken a wildebeest close to an area where both species had been spotted on the previous afternoon. No day in the African wilderness is ever the same and this day is sure to hold some un anticipated yet rewarding surprises. |

Day 4: Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve
A last morning game drive in the Timbavati is followed by breakfast after which guests are met and transferred to the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. En route a stop is made at a cultural village where the traditions and lifestyle of the Shangaan Nation is briefly explored before traveling on to South Africa’s premier private Game Reserve. The Sabi Sand is acknowledged to be the birth place of sustainable Eco Tourism in South Africa. It is the place in the Greater Kruger National Park where Leopard sightings occur most frequently. The afternoon game drive conducted from Lion Sands with the prospect of seeing these most graceful and illusive of the African Cats is sure to be a memorable experience.

Day 5: Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve
The day is devoted to two game drives and a bush walk in the Sabi Sand. The vegetation in the area ranges from thickly wooded ravines and river bush to more open savannah. Your ranger is an expert in locating the various species based on their habitat preferences and feeding habits.

Day 6: Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve
Guests awaken to a pastel dawn painted in the African Sky by the sunrise. The bush comes alive with bird song and the browsers and grazers that inhabit this area of Africa ready themselves for a new day as the game drive vehicle leaves camp on the morning safari. You will once again have the opportunity to experience Africa on a guided bush walk during the middle of the day before embarking on a late afternoon game drive.

Day 7: Departure
A last morning safari is followed by breakfast after which guests are transferred to a local airstrip for a flight to Johannesburg after a memorable Kruger National Park Safari which explored two of South Africa’s finest game reserves.
