This South African Honeymoon visits Cape Town, the Garden Route, the Greater Kruger National Park for a safari in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. After the safari in the Sabi Sand a combination night is spent in the Mpumalanga Highlands before experiencing the Victoria Falls and Chobe. |

Detailed Honeymoon Itinerary
Day 1-4: Cape Town
Guests are met upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport where they are transferred to the Cape Grace Hotel set on its own private quay on Cape Town’s vibrant Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Guests spend four nights at the Cape Grace Hotel and have the opportunity to just relax at the Waterfront, or alternatively to explore Cape Town. |

Day 5-7: Plettenberg Bay
Guests are transferred to Cape Town International for a flight to George, where they are met and transferred to the Plettenberg Park Hotel. The Hotel overlooks the calm lake shores of an inland wild duck sanctuary, offering privacy and tranquility that knows no parallel. It is situated within the most exclusive private nature reserve in the Cape and is set high on the majestic cliffs of this dramatically beautiful coastline. Guests can spend the day on the hotel's very own sun-drenched snow white beach, swimming in a rock pool, snorkeling in seas rich in marine life, scuba diving, water-skiing, Hobie Cat sailing and deep-sea fishing, or spend a lazy day at the pool side. Enjoy walks in Plettenberg Park and let its immense variety of indigenous flora and fauna stimulate your senses. Guests spend three nights at the Plettenberg Park Hotel.

Day 8-10: Sabi Sand
Guests are collected after breakfast and are transferred to George Airport for a flight to Johannesburg and from there an onward connection to the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve. The honeymooners will be met at the airport and driven to their accommodation at the Lion Sands River Lodge where they will spend three nights luxuriating in the African bush. The reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park and is home to most of South Africa's finest Game Lodges. Lion Sands Private Game Reserve is situated in the South Eastern Corner of the Sabi Sand. It is the only reserve in the Sabi Sand which has access to the Sabie River. Two game drives and a bush walk are conducted daily.

Day 11: Mpumalanga Highlands
A last morning game drive and breakfast is followed by an exploration of the Mpumalanga Panoramic Route. Stops are made at Gods Window with its sweeping views of the Lowveld Region as well as the Triplet peaks of the Three Rondavels, one of the most scenic views of the Blyde River Canyon, third largest of all the worlds canyons. We will travel along the highest tarred road in South Africa. From the crest of Mount Anderson one can look down 1,000 meters to South Africa's largest man made forest. Guests will then drive through Long Tom Pass at 2,149 meters above sea-level. The Pass is named after an old cannon used in the Anglo Boer War and referred to as the Long Tom. Guests will continue along the Panoramic Route through Lydenburg to Dullstroom where the honeymooners will have an overnight stay at Walkersons.
Here guests can enjoy the warm hospitality and fine experiences this boutique hotel has to offer. The rooms are romantic and refined, each with an en-suite bathroom, a lake view, private patio and a fireplace. Dining is a celebration of the senses where the honeymooners are taken on a culinary journey through a variety of courses and sorbets in the fireside intimacy of the dining room. Guests spend one night at Walkersons on a dinner bed and breakfast basis. |

Day 12-14: Royal Livingstone
Breakfast is followed by a transfer to O.R. Tambo and from there a flight to Livingstone. Guests are met upon arrival at Livingstone Airport and are transferred to their hotel which is located on the banks of the Zambezi River.
From the forested banks of the Zambezi River in front of the Hotel, honeymooners may admire the fine spray of the Victoria Falls, which rises like a cloud across the bushveld, throwing rainbows hundreds of feet in the air. The Hotel is a serene and gracious refuge from the heat of the African sun and will immerse you in the romance and style of a bygone era. Meals can be had indoors under softly lit chandeliers, or on the veranda where the cool river breeze gently stirs the night air. Special dinners can be arranged for the honeymooners under the star-studded skies. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast or ‘alfresco’ lunches on the veranda overlooking the rolling lawns and the Zambezi River.
During the afternoon we visit the the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, a World Heritage Site overlooking the mighty Victoria Falls. Guests spend three nights at the Royal Livingstone. |

Day 15-17: Chobe
After three nights of colonial luxury, the honeymoon couple will enjoy a breakfast then be driven to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. They will be booked in to Chobe Chilwero an enchanting place with gorgeous, breathtaking vistas as a backdrop.
Here guests will come face-to-face with the abundant creatures of the bush, and some of the most spectacular sunsets Mother Nature bestows. Three nights are spent at Chobe Chilwero Lodge. Guests will experience two Chobe National Park Safaris each day. These will alternate between open 4X4 safaris in the National Park and water based game viewing from the Chobe River. The safaris are led by skilled local rangers and trackers. |

Day 18: Departure
A last morning game activity and breakfast is followed by a transfer to Livingstone and from there and from there a flight to Johannesburg. Guests are met at the Airport and are assisted with check in to their international flight after a memorable honeymoon in Africa. |
