This African Safari Honeymoon visits Johannesburg, the Sossusvlei desert landscape in Namibia as well as the Etosha and Windhoek the Honeymoon Safari then returns to Johannesburg before enjoying a safari in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. |

Detailed Honeymoon Itinerary
Day 1: Johannesburg
Guests are met upon arrival at Johannesburg International (O.R. Tambo) where they will be transferred to the Michelangelo Hotel for an overnight stay. Guests have a choice of two top quality in-house restaurants or they can venture out into the square where there are sidewalk cafes, fine dining and some 93 exclusive shops. |

Day 2- 4 : Sossusvlei
Breakfast is followed by a transfer to O.R. Tambo International for a flight to Windhoek where guests are met and assisted in transferring to a flight bound for Kulala Desert Lodge, situated within the arid Namib Desert on the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve. Kulala Lodge is the closest lodge to Sossusvlei with it's own private entrance to the park.
Reflecting the magnificent landscapes in which Kulala lies, the the honeymooners will be left with the overwhelming impressions of the magnitude, solitude and tranquility of the desert. Early morning guided nature drives to the spectacular dunes of Sossusvlei. World-famous Sossusvlei is an enormous clay pan, flanked by the famous red sand dunes that stand out starkly against the blue sky. These dunes have developed over millions of years, the wind continuously transforming the contours of this red sand sea. The 'vlei' itself only fills after rare heavy rainfall when, in a complete turn-around, it becomes a spectacular turquoise lake. Guests spend two nights at Kulala Desert lodge with a morning and afternoon nature activity included on each day. |

Day 5-7: Etosha
A morning nature activity and breakfast is followed by a flight to Ongava Lodge in the Etosha area. Ongava is one of the largest private game reserves in Namibia, covering over 125 square miles. Etosha has great concentrations of game, especially in the dry winter months, and there are wonderful views out onto the salt pans which dominate the center of the park. The lodge offers the full Etosha experience and honeymooners will be treated to two game drives and a nature walk each day. The guests rooms have glass fronted doors which lead out onto a private covered verandah overlooking the bush. Honeymooners can savour outdoor dining under the stars, whilst viewing game drinking at the waterhole. Something never to be forgotten. |

Day 8: Windhoek
A morning game drive and breakfast is followed by a flight to Windhoek where guests are met and transferred to the overnight destination at the Hotel Heinitzburg situated in one of Windhoek's beautiful castles. It has a magnificent view of Windhoek and the surrounding Khomas Hochland mountains. The late afternoon is spent at leisure. |

Day 9-10: Mpumalanga
Breakfast is followed by a flight to Johannesburg where guests are met by and African Sky guide. We travel to the Mpumalanga Province and the Walkersons Hotel which is located near the town of Dullstroom. Here honeymoon couples can enjoy the warm hospitality and fine experiences this boutique hotel has to offer. The rooms are romantic and refined, each with an en-suite bathroom, a lake view, private patio and a fireplace. Dining is a celebration of the senses where the honeymooners are taken on a culinary journey through a variety of courses and sorbets in the fireside intimacy of the dining room. The perfect place for honeymooners to indulge is at the Amani Spa at the Hotel, a timeless place of peace and tranquility, where one can be embraced by nature and feast your soul and senses. Guests spend two nights at Walkersons with breakfast and dinner included daily. |

Day 11-13: Sabi Sand
The honeymooners will be met after breakfast and driven to the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. The reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park and is home to most of South Africa's finest Game Lodges. Lion Sands Private Game Reserve is situated in the South Eastern Corner of the Sabi Sand. It is the only reserve in the Sabi Sand which has access to the Sabie River. Guests spend three nights at Lion Sands River Lodge on a full board basis. Two game drives and a bush walk are conducted daily.

Day 14: Departure
After a last morning safari and breakfast the honeymooners will be flown to O.R. Tambo in Johannesburg, where they are assisted with check in to a flight back to their country of origin after a memorable Southern African Honeymoon.. |
