Cape and Wildlife Honeymoon - 14 Days (Code H9)

Day 5-6: Cape Winelands
Breakfast is followed by a transfer to Alba Guest Farm. Surrounded by one of the oldest Pinotage vineyards in the world, Alba is ideally located for relaxing in a tranquil farm setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Rest and relaxation with tranquil vineyards surrounding the 10 acre estate – you can experience what it is like to actually live on a wine farm while enjoying spectacular sunsets and a traditional barbecue from your 400 year old styled thatch cottage.

Day 7-9: Mpumalanga Highlands
After a delicious breakfasts, which can be delivered to your cottage, guests are taken to Cape Town International Airport for their flight to O.R. Tambo in Johannesburg. Guest are met by a guide and drive through the Mpumalanga Province passing through the towns of Witbank and Belfast en route to Dullstroom. Before reaching Dullstroom a visit is made to the bird of prey and rehabilitation center where a large number of different Raptor Species can be viewed. The couple will then be taken to Dullstroom and their accommodation at Critchley Hackle Lodge. Built in pointed stone and set around a garden lake, the setting is unique and breathtaking. The interior of the lodge is decorated with some of the most beautiful and original antiques and paintings and will leave you with a sense of peace and dignity. Here the honeymooners can sip a vintage wine in the bar or enjoy fine dining by candlelight to the sight and sound of water flickering in the night. Two nights are spent here swimming in the refreshing onsite pool, trout fishing, trap shooting, falconry displays and of-course shopping in Dullstroom.

Day 14: Departure
A last morning game drive and breakfast is followed by a transfer to a local airstrip for a flight to Johannesburg. Bringing to an end an experience that will live up to the Africa of your imagination, where memories have been created for a lifetime!
